Car Seat Recycling
Drop off your old and expired car seats, booster and infant seat at the Bellies to Babies Celebration tradeshow for recycling. Keep your used car seat out of the landfill. Car seats can be conveniently dropped off outside the tradeshow venue prior to attending. To date B2B has recycled over 350 car seats! Sponsored in partnership with WCS Recycling. Monetary dontations will be accepted to cover the cost of this recycling program.

Dr. Anita Gartner is a Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and has been dedicated to continually improve the standard of care delivered to her patients. Dr. Gartner has met the requirements as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has been a member of a number of dental and medical professional organizations and has volunteered on professional boards in the Evergreen Pediatric Dental Study Club (Seattle, Washington), B.C. Pediatric Dentist Society and the Audit Committee of B.C. Children's Hospital. She has participated in joint clinical studies with graduate students and post-doctoral students from the Department of Oral Health and Psychology at the University of British Columbia and Public Health at the University of Washington
Colleen is a former teacher and a Certified Child Passenger Safety Educator/Instructor who has worked in the field of Child Passenger Safety since 2003, both with BCAA’s Child Passenger Safety Program and with her own company Kids in the Back. Colleen is an expert in the field of Child Passenger Safety Education in BC and has conducted hundreds of information sessions, instructed new CPS Educators and inspected thousands of child seat installations during her tenure. She has a humorous, easy going teaching style and is excited to be speaking at Bellies to Babies this year. Colleen lives in the Lower Mainland with her husband Bruce and their children Annie and Jack.
Jason is the Head of BCIT’s Prosthetics and Orthotics Program, an Adjunct Professor in UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, founder and director of The Pediatric Headshape Clinic and co-director of HeadStart Medical, an innovative medical engineering and 3D printing company (www.headstartmedical.com). He has a Masters of Science Degree (Honours) in Orthopedic Engineering and 25 years of clinical experience as a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist in public, private, corporate practice and education. The Pediatric HeadShape Clinic was founded by Jason to improve access to care and to get individualized answers for the up to 24% of families struggling with headshape concerns of their little ones. For his work, Jason is a recipient of the Canadian Educational Association (CEA) Excellence Award, BCIT’s Excellence in Teaching and Research Award and has been bestowed an honorary lifetime membership in The War Amputations of Canada.

After discovering her love for movement and fitness, Karen discovered Pilates. With a focus on enhancing core strength and bringing increased reach, flexibility, sure-footedness and agility, it made perfect sense for her to pair her love for dance with her next love, Pilates. She has been teaching Pilates for 11 years, and continues to challenge her students with her various teaching techniques. Karen inspires and share her experiences with others in hopes to help them believe that anything is possible, and everything is possible!
Kim is an Accredited Baby & Child Sleep Consultant and Owner of Mountainview Sleep Consulting. She is a trusted and valuable resource for families who are struggling with sleep deprivation and who are searching for an educated perspective on their personal journey with their child’s unique sleep struggles. Kim has nearly 3 years of experience and has helped 100+ families to achieve their sleep goals using thoughtful, mindful and realistic sleep solutions. She is a proud member of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants, the Canadian Sleep Society, National Sleep Foundation, and Baby’s Breathe Canada, and is devoted to elevating her practice through continuing education.
Matthew is a father of 2 children: a chef inspired girl and an imaginative boy. Having managed a Babies-R-Us store and now selling baby products to 150 independent retailers, Matt has experience with a variety of baby products and understands what parents and children require and appreciate.
